Paris is always a good idea! From croissants, cheese to foie gras, we guarantee you will leave France a few pounds heavier but it's so worth it! Here are a few of our current favourite Paris eats.
LUNCH
Frequented by locals this quaint cafe with outdoor seating is perfect for brunch while people watching in Saint Germain.
Must order: Warm goat's cheese salad & Cheese board
Traditional Parisian bistro serving delicious classics. The smell of the herb butter from the kitchen will make you order a second plate of escargots.
Must order: Allard's traditional frogs legs
If you love truffles, this one's for you! After a spot of shopping at Galeries Lafayette head to the gourmet building and take a seat on the rose gold bar.
Must order: Tagliatelle with season truffle & Brie de Meaux
DINNER
Foie gras everything! Make sure you come with an appetite, you'll want to order half the menu. The adjoining deli will leave you with a bag full of goodies to bring home.
Must order: Foie gras ravioli with truffle sauce
For that splurge meal, this 2 Michelin star restaurant tucked away in one of Paris' oldest arcades uses market-fresh produce prepared by Japanese Chef Shinichi Sato.
Must order: Signature Degustation Menu
Quaint and cosy spot for a romantic dinner. Serving French food
Must order: Pot-au-feu
DRINKS
Hidden in the back of Daroco Italian restaurant is a cocktail bar headed by Parisian mixologist Nico de Soto. On the menu, 12 cocktails with 12 different spirits.
Must order: Take your pick based on the cartoon illustrations on the menu
A hip little bar where elaborate cocktails are the main show. Let the bartender know what you like and dislike and they will steer you in the right direction.
Must order: Go off-menu
A perfect date destination with its cosy nooks. Fresh homemade syrups go into the cocktails and they have a wide selection of whiskies from around the world.
